Shaun Glasier is a New Hampshire native and Colwen Design and Purchasing employee who was asked to commission a sculpture for this Portsmouth AC Hotel. Shaun utilized locally sourced lobster traps and constructed them in a triangular repeating pattern that would alter in appearance as the viewer’s perspective changes while moving about the lobby. This is Shaun’s second sculpture that was commissioned for a Colwen Hotel property, the other being the Hermoso sculpture created out of used car parts featured in The Row Hotel at Assembly Row.
