Danielle Gerber is an artist based in Portland, Maine. Trained with a degree in metalsmithing and jewelry from the Maine College of Art, Danielle handcrafts a variety of metal jewelry, wares and artwork. This artwork is made from copper, bronze and brass and is hammer formed through traditional metalsmithing techniques. A fascination with water inspires her imagery and forms. The natural patterns in these pieces are based on landscapes created by water eroding the earth’s surface.
